Luke Meechan

Luke is a consultant with extensive experience in the built environment in the UK and overseas. As a Chartered Civil Engineer Luke has been exposed to a wide range of disciplines giving a solid understanding of all aspects of the industry. With over 15 years experience Luke has worked in the highways industry delivering maintenance management contracts for London Boroughs and County Councils through both contractor and consultancy services.  Luke’s experience has evolved into working with clients developing and implementing asset management tools, systems and plans.

Luke’s diverse career provides a sought after ability to assess challenges from all angles and work with teams to develop the best outcomes in the areas of activity Metis operates in.

Additionally Luke is an active member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and Institute of Asset Management.  As a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation Luke is currently Chair of Southern Branch, and active member of Membership Board, Transportation Professional Panel and a Reviewer for CEng and IEng candidates.

Simon Jones
MEng (Hons) MIAM 

Simon has been providing asset management consultancy services to a London Boroughs, County Councils and Unitary Authorities clients since 2005. In this time Simon has developed an impressive track record in leading teams to deliver innovative asset management planning and implementation solutions. Simon has built his asset management expertise on a solid foundation of several years working within engineering consultancies, contractors and the public sector.

Simon has represented Great Britain at World Championship level in rowing and has won numerous world medals. In addition to a high level of engineering expertise Simon’s background as a world class sportsman competing at the highest level has given him the ability to provide leadership, be a valuable team player through high levels of motivation, determination and an ability to perform under pressure.

Simon has a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College, London and is a member of the Institute of Asset Management.
