THE OPPORTUNITY

The role would suit a Senior Engineer who wants to step up to technical and team leadership, or an established Principal Engineer looking for a fresh challenge in a dynamic environment.

As a Senior/Principal Engineer you will be exposed to all elements of the business from project and client management, through technical delivery, to team mentoring. Your primary focus will be on expanding Metis’ drainage design capability, especially around SuDS and flood mitigation schemes, to offer a more comprehensive public realm design service to our clients. You will take the role of Technical Lead for drainage design, and will be heavily involved in developing our business in this area.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Applicants will be a chartered engineer or nearly chartered, with at least 3 years’ relevant experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Engineering Technician to join the Metis team. The successful candidate will be undertaking road condition surveys in London.  The candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in road surveys and be part of Metis’ asset management team.

While the opportunity is initially a short-term contract, 3 months, there may be the opportunity for a permanent position in the team for the right person.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

You must have A levels, preferably including Maths or Physics and an interest in developing a career in engineering.

Additionally, you will be required to ride a bicycle in London and undertake walked surveys.

You will be part of our Flood Risk Management team and involved in all elements of our offering including; flood risk mitigation schemes, sustainable drainage design, flood risk modelling and strategy development.
