Chartered Engineer Becomes Head of Design Team

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Victor as our Design Team Leader.

Victor originally studied MEng Civil Engineering at the University of Portsmouth and has worked as a Civil Engineer for Consultants and Contractors delivering and designing drainage schemes, from small to multi million pounds projects for the Private and Public Sectors. Victor’s experience will be crucial in the role and his innovative mindset will drive the company forward.

Originally from Murcia, Victor also brings his enthusiasm for design into his home-life. He is currently building a 2000 gallons paddle in his back garden to keep his Sterlets and Koi carp happy.  The paddle includes several SuDS features, which help reducing surface water runoff from the property into the public sewer, all designed and built by himself.

Simon and Luke are delighted to welcome Victor and stated “We are really pleased to have Victor join the team at Metis and head up our design offering. With Victor’s civils design skills and experience, we are now able to offer an end-to-end service to our highways and flood risk clients, with the ability to take schemes from inception to construction”.
